The damper pulley is an essential part connected to the crankshaft of an engine to provide
driving power to water pump, alternator, compressor, etc. through belts system and to
dampen out the vibration in the crankshaft as well as prevent a distort of the crankshaft.
Parts
Inner hub
It is fixed on the crankshaft and it imparts engine torque to rubber ring.
Rubber ring
It is in between inner hub and outer pulley. It has a function to dampen out the torsional vibration through inner hub and impart engine torque to outer pulley.
Outer pulley
It is to delivery engine torque to pumps and other driving system of the engine through belts.
